Walmart, Here We Come! Mission MightyMe Secures Coveted “Golden Ticket” Deal at Walmart Open Call
We have some BIG news to share! NUTTY PUFFS ARE COMING TO THE WORLD’S BIGGEST RETAILER!
This week our fearless co-founders Catherine and J.J. Jaxon traveled to Bentonville, Arkansas (aka Walmart HQ!) for a once in a lifetime opportunity to pitch Mission MightyMe at Walmart’s Open Call - a massive pitch competition for sourcing American-made products for Walmart.

Thousands of brands applied, 600 were invited to pitch, a handful secured a “Golden Ticket” deal with Walmart, and we’re SO honored to be one of them!
We met some amazing brands and inspiring people from Walmart, learned about Walmart’s impressive commitment to investing in American businesses and jobs, and then we got to make our pitch for a coveted spot on Walmart shelves…
We told our story. We talked about the WHY behind Mission MightyMe…
How our oldest daughter had developed an allergy to most nuts after we followed the old, now disproven guidance to avoid them in infancy.
We talked about our co-founder, Dr. Gideon Lack’s game-changing research, which found most peanut allergies can actually be prevented with early and regular peanut consumption, starting in infancy - a discovery that changed pediatric feeding guidelines globally.
And how when our third child was born we were determined to follow the new research and guidelines, only to realize just how hard that is when nuts and nut butters are a choking hazard and the baby aisle is totally allergen-free.
We talked about how JJ and I were sitting in our kitchen one night with a canister of rice puffs (that our kids loved but had no nutritional value) and a jar of expensive, messy mixed nut butter. And I said, why can’t someone just combine these two products and then you’d not only have a smarter way to include nuts in little one’s diets, but you’d have the healthiest puff on the baby and kids’ snack aisle!
And we talked about how we (gasp) quit our jobs and partnered with Dr. Lack to do exactly that - carefully crafting the first and only baby-friendly puffs that are more than 50% nuts (peanuts and tree nuts), match the research, dissolve quickly for babies and taste delicious for big kids too.
We talked about our mission to end the food allergy epidemic by giving back to food allergy prevention research. And how mass adoption of the NIH peanut allergy prevention guidelines, could potentially prevent one million children from developing a peanut allergy over the next decade.
And most importantly, we talked about YOU. Our amazing parents and tiny taste testers who have joined us on this mission…whose phone calls, emails, adorable pictures, videos, comments and incredible reviews keep us going every single day. And we are pretty sure that’s what ultimately sealed the deal, because Walmart just couldn’t say no to so much cuteness with so much love for these tiny puffs on a mighty mission (yes, we showed them the adorable photos you’ve shared with us)!
When it was all said and done, we ALL - the entire MightyMe family - got a huge vote of confidence from the largest retailer in the world - a Golden Ticket deal to launch in Walmart in 2026!

We’ve already accomplished so much together in the last 5 years since our launch, and we really feel like the sky’s the limit with the power and reach of Walmart behind us. A future with fewer food allergies (and healthier snacking!) is in view, and we could not be more excited about all the good that can come from that.
So huge a THANK YOU to our amazing customers, friends, family, supporters and the BEST team. We would never have come this far without you - and yet in so many ways, we’re just getting started!
