Commitment to Safety: 

As parents to three little ones (one with food allergies), we launched Mission MightyMe with one very-specific purpose: To give parents trusted options for healthy snacking and food allergy prevention, that also delivered on taste, quality and nutrition. 

We weren't happy with the ingredients in the few products that existed, so we partnered with the leading food allergy prevention researcher to develop science-based foods made with the purest ingredients we could find. 

We only work with carefully vetted and trusted farms and suppliers and we use only non-GMO ingredients that are organic whenever possible, to limit any potential exposure to chemicals and pesticides.  

We also have a rigorous food safety product assessment and audit system in place for heavy metal, chemical and microbial testing. Our final product is tested in accordance with federal and state guidelines, as well as our own strict standards. We also conduct heavy metal testing on all of our final products to ensure compliance with established Safe Harbor levels under the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act (Prop 65).

Where ingredients come from matters, which is why we source our rice from USDA Certified Organic farms, which we chose specifically for their soil, farming methods, and testing protocols. We also chose white rice, rather than brown rice, because white rice doesn't absorb potential contaminants as readily. And our puffs are more than 50% nuts, which means they have much less rice than traditional baby puffs.   

Thanks to our rigorous commitment to safety, we’re proud to say that every single one of our products has been awarded the Clean Label Project Purity Award. The Clean Label Project conducts independent, third-party testing for more than 400 different contaminants including heavy metals, chemicals, plastics, pesticides and other toxins; and they concluded that Mission MightyMe meets their highest standards. We’re proud to be raising the bar.  

As founders, and as parents, the safety of our children and yours is our most important priority and we will continue to take every precaution to ensure our foods are safe. And as we grow, introduce more products and source new ingredients, we will always follow the latest science and strictest standards.  

We started this company to improve the health of our children and yours, and we will never waver from that mission.
